Meeting place 1
Location Information:
We use multiple location in Downtown Cincinnati for our photography workshops, classes and photo walks. This is downtown Cincinnati OH meeting location # 1, located at the corner of East 7th Street and Walnut Street in downtown Cincinnati. When we meet here for Photo Walks, we usually walk south toward the East Fourth Street Historic District then to Fountain Square. When returning to the meeting location we will follow a different route. Sometimes we will go to the observation deck of Carew Tower. Please keep in mind there is no guaranteed route or stops, the instructor will determine the route and stops at the beginning of the workshop, class or photo walk after meeting the attendees. When we meet here for classes or workshops, students will be emailed any pertinent information prior to the class or workshop.

In front of the Aronoff Center for the Arts which located at the corner of East 7th Street and Walnut Street.

Parking Information:
There is parking on the street and depending on how far you are willing to walk, there are several parking lots in downtown Cincinnati. On street parking may require paying at a parking meter, please be prepared just in case.
Recommended Equipment:
There are so many subjects to photograph at this location that almost any lens will work including wide angle, telephoto, macro, bring your favorites.
If you Photography class/workshop/photo walk has a specific subject such as Portrait Photography, Cityscape Photography or Macro Photography be certain to bring the appropriate lens for the subject matter. Also if our web page for your class/workshop/photo walk has a list of recommended equipment please refer to it.
A tripod and remote shutter release.
Flash.
Polarizing and Graduated Neutral Density filters are good.
For portrait photography workshops reflectors are often helpful.
Flashlight for "special effects" photography and in case it is dark before the class ends.
Ask your instructor to bring a ghost costume if you would like to learn how to take "Ghost Photos".
Attire:
As always please dress for the weather conditions. We will be walking several blocks in downtown, usually about 1.5 to 2 miles but it may be more or less. Comfortable shoes or boots are a good idea, dress shoes, heels and open toe shoes are a bad idea.
